Ministries of Campbell Chapel
Campbell Chapel AME Church is a member church of the African Methodist Episcopal Church. It is in the Desert Mountain Annual Conference and Rocky Mountain Presiding Elder District of the Fifth Episcopal District, under the leadership of The Right Reverend Clement W. Fugh. Rev. Jennifer S. Leath is the Pastor.
The ministerial staff leads the church, along with the Official Board, composed of the Steward Board, the Trustee Board, the Class Leaders, the presidents of the Stewardess Board, the Lay Organization, the Women's Missionary Society, the Usher Board, and the Hospitality Club, the Superintendent of the Church School, and other heads of church auxiliaries.
Youth are central to the life of Campbell and are involved in the Youth / Children's Choir, the Young People's Department (YPD), the Church School, and Vacation Bible School.
Campbell is also proud of its Worship & Arts program, under the leadership of Sis. Marilyn Joyce Robertson, Minister of Music. In addition to the Youth / Children's Choir, the Men's Choir, the Women's Choir, the Mass Choir, and a praise team lead us in worship.
Campbell is proud of its Food Bank ministry. Every fourth Friday, Campbell provides food between 10 am and 12 pm to those in need. Campbell is also proud to serve the community through its 24 units of housing: Coleman Manor.
Bible Study is an essential part of the learning life of the Church and is held at 2 pm and 6 pm every Wednesday. Church School is every Sunday at 9 am.
